Content Management Server

Content Management Server refers to a device, computer, or server that manages and stores the contents that are disseminated to a digital signage network. The server, with content management software installed, is located in a central site and is used to update contents of digital signages at several locations. Content management server is also widely referred to as network manager, broadcast server, and content distribution server.

A5TEK offers a sophisticated content management software, the ieHIP® Digital Signage Server, that allows from a single central system to control, manage, and monitor digital signage networks. ieHIP® Digital Signage Server allows, among other things, for creation and scheduling of playlists with different file formats, design of display layout, and update of contents. The contents are then broadcast or narrowcast into the digital signage network.
