ieHIP® Press - Archive SUNNYVALE, California, December 20, 2006 - A5TEK Corp., a leading creator of rich media TV portal, today announced its new suite of rich media technologies – ieHIP® Digital Signage and ieHIP® Media Connect which will be showcased in Las Vegas at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) considered to be the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. ieHIP® Digital Signage is expected to lead in the digital signage domain for its robust and unrivaled TV, and user-defined display configurations and playback. Capabilities include connectivity to analog and wide-ranging DTV standards like ATSC, DVBT and DVBS while the first in the industry to have such flexibility for users to change screen layouts or place as many ads of any format at will anytime anywhere. “Digital signage operators know better where to put them [ads] on the screen, what media types to use, how many ads should be there and how big they should appear. Aside from narrowcasting, ieHIP® Digital Signage Server has playtime scheduler, content management, auto-updating of contents and playback reporting system for standalone or networked digital signages. Apart from its combined media center and broadcast power which captivated visitors last year, the platform brings photo-editing a TV experience. “We leverage our proprietary TV user-interface to give consumers a totally different yet familiar feel using TV as a way to retouch their photos. “ adds Lee. ieHIP® Media Connect does more than just enhancing photos, users can also record live broadcasts with its time-shifting or Digital Video Recording (DVR) functions and at the same time able to capture images and edit them right away in the same TV interface. The product also features connectivity to select IPTV contents from any country, Internet and TV browser, local and Internet search engine, interactive program guides as well as karaoke and digital jukebox functions.
